Monday Musings

This is how I start my days. And by start I mean after Brody falls back to sleep for his morning nap.  Then I get to relax in my own little backyard oasis. I could sit out here all day. And when it's nice out I usually do. It's so calming and relaxing. Refreshing.  And it gives me time to think. To reflect. We have a lot going on these days. Planning our wedding is keeping me busy. I mean "trying" to plan our wedding. It's three months away but I know that it will be here before we know it and the surmounting mountain of things to do is getting bigger and bigger. Now that it is finally nice out Jeff is staying extra busy at work and with our nugget on the move it's near impossible to sit down and get anything done. OK, I'll admit I like the distraction because when I sit down and try to do wedding stuff I get extremely overwhelmed. On top of planning our own wedding we have weddings to attend through out the summer and when we try to nail down a free weekend it seems like theres no time for family things. It's a sad day when you look at the calendar and every weekend has something going on. I remember being a kid and summer seemed endless. Now summer is so booked up it's fall before you have free time. Which brings me back to the above picture and these two:

This is how we unwind. We might not get to get away every weekend to a secluded campground or float around on a mountain surrounded lake, but we do get to have our morning coffee together and listen to the water flowing through our backyard. I'm a pretty lucky girl getting to marry a guy who can bring a little bit of the mountains to our backyard! Did I mention he's a great dad too? He makes a pretty steamy pool boy to boot!
hubba hubba ;)
This post is all over the place but here are a few facts on a Monday:

I get to marry my best friend in 89 days. He makes me laugh, he wipes my tears, and he makes me feel beautiful everyday!

I love summer and sunshine and my growing baby who's fascination with all things is endless
Yes that's dirt! I stopped him before it got past the lips!

And last but certainly not least, I can not wait for this girl to get here:

My bestie and my Maid of Honor. I have known her since vacation bible school (for those of you who don't know that predates even pre-school) and I love her to death! She is the sister I never had and I am so excited she is going to be a part of my BIG Day!

Peace-Love-Joy my friends!
