Myrtle Beach

I think Jeff and I are easily enamored with the idea of travel. And don't get me wrong, it can be totally amazing and fun. But, with us, once we get to destination, we quickly realize we miss the luxuries of home. It almost makes us appreciate home that much more. Which I suppose, in our situation, that is best.

We just got back from a stay at Myrtle Beach. It was our first time to the south east coast together. My first time seeing the Atlantic Ocean. We went without Brody, thinking it would be nice to have the time alone together before baby #2 makes HER arrival. The time together was nice, but we found ourselves missing Brody more than we expected and constantly saying "Brody would be having so much fun here" "Brody would love playing in the sand and running into the ocean" ect. I think that means the next vacation will be a complete family vacation and it will be a couple of years from now.  We didn't want to go crazy trying to sight see, so we did a little here and there and took time to just relax.

On our way to the resort

a day shy of 21 weeks and our last sandy beach walk

In a nutshell that was our trip. Quick, LONG flights, and some serious thunder storms. We feel so fortunate that we were able to take a trip together, and even more so that we get to come him to such a wonderful little boy. Montana will always have our hearts. We are mountain people for sure.
